Renee Frauendienst

Renee Frauendienst is an accomplished public health leader with over four decades of experience in nursing, governmental public health services, and strategic health leadership. As the President and CEO of RnC Consulting, P.A., she provides expert consultation to public health and human service organizations, county boards, and community stakeholders, focusing on performance and process improvement, leadership development, and strategic planning.
Before founding RnC Consulting, Frauendienst spent more than 30 years with Stearns County Human Services, where she served as Public Health Division Director and Community Health Services (CHS) Administrator. In these roles, she was instrumental in developing programs that addressed health disparities, improved health outcomes, and supported communities through disaster response and public health emergencies. She also held leadership positions as a Disease Prevention and Control Supervisor, further deepening her expertise in community health initiatives.
A graduate of the College of St. Benedict with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Frauendienst earned a Certificate in Performance Improvement from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She was also selected as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Public Health Nursing Leader, underscoring her commitment to innovative leadership in the field.
Frauendienst’s career has been defined by her dedication to collaboration and equity. She has served on numerous boards, including as Chair of the St. Cloud Hospital Advisory Board, as a Board Member for CentraCare, and as a member and chair for Stratis Health contributing to initiatives that enhance health services across Minnesota. Her work emphasizes evidence-based strategies, sustainable impact, and the importance of addressing social determinants of health.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to the incredible network and support I’ve built throughout my career. Surrounding myself with mentors, colleagues, and community partners who share a passion for public health has been invaluable. Their guidance, encouragement, and collaboration have shaped my growth as a leader and allowed me to create meaningful impact in the communities I serve.
